Shanghai Electric Power Design Institute Co.,Ltd. is a restructuring of the former Shanghai Electric Power Design Institute. It is an A-grade Electric Power planning, surveying, designing and consulting research institute with qualified certificates in project design, project consulting, project supervision and overall contracting.

At the same time the company compiled Power Industry Standard of <Technical rule for design of urban power cables> and compiled or co-compiled 11 Standards of other national industry or regional project construction. It also holds 5 technical patents such as “Easy-connected high-strength cable pipe”, “Glass fibre reinforced plastic inspection well cover”, “Anti-pull pile for underground substation”, etc.
